There is a common misconception out there about people in the fitness industry.

It goes something like this…

If you’re a trainer or sports performance coach, you’re motivated and excited to train all the time!

Actually…

Not so much.

Now don’t get me wrong – I love training. I really enjoy it or I wouldn’t do what I’m doing. But I’m not always over the moon when it’s time for me to complete my own workout.

You would be surprised how challenging it can be to watch other people work out all day and then find the motivation to do the same yourself.

But I remind myself I’m human. Just like you, there are times where I DO NOT have the motivation to workout.

That’s normal.

So, what do I do?

I do the workout anyways.

You don’t always have to feel excited or motivated to train. Sometimes you just need to put one foot in front of the other.

Doing something is better than nothing.
